Mohammad Alzorgan is a researcher working in autonomous technologies as well as intelligent system design, control, and optimization. Mohammad received his BSc in Mechatronics Engineering from Tafila Technical University in Jordan, and then went on to complete an MSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University in the US. Mohammad has done internships at the NASA Ames Research Center in California, USA, as well as the Royal Scientific Society in Amman, Jordan. He also has experience working in the automotive industry in the US with companies and entities like General Motors, the US Department of Energy, and the Argonne National Laboratory. In the past, Mohammad was also active as a youth worker participating in EU youth education projects in both Jordan and Sweden. Currently Mohammad is working for AVL Powertrain in the United Kingdom where is actively developing new technologies in the automotive field.



Intelligent System Design & AI applications

“Mohammad Alzorgan will be presenting the latest trends and methods of intelligent system design, as well as AI applications, mainly in the automotive field. He will also talk about the development of technology from the basic high level design, to the advanced specialized technical level, and how to self-develop the skills necessary to work in this highly competitive and rapidly advancing technological field.” So basically I will be talking about Intelligent System Design & AI applications in the automotive and transportation manufacturing industry, basically how to design and optimize vehicles to be smarter and more energy efficient, also utilizing recognition, classification, and optimization algorithms to leverage environment information to make these systems more aware and operate intelligently.
